Editorial standards

OpenPeaks looks for distinctive Alpine hotels that create a strong reason to travel. Selection is a human editorial decision. Affiliate availability, advertising and hotel payment do not determine inclusion.

We prioritise official hotel, destination, lift and transport sources for operational facts, and use established editorial sources for independent context. Claims are recorded with provenance, review dates and validity limits. Unresolved or conflicting claims are omitted or clearly qualified.

Our reviews combine supported hotel facts with editorial judgement. Access, inclusions, policies, prices and schedules can change, so customers should reconfirm important details before booking.

When a supported correction is brought to our attention, we investigate it, preserve the distinction between factual correction and editorial opinion, and withdraw customer-facing claims that no longer meet our evidence requirements. Corrections can be sent to hello@openpeaks.co.uk.
